Leslie A. Butler, Attorney



Attorney Leslie A. Butler earned her Bachelor of Science degree With Distinction in History from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor in 2003, and her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in May of 2008. Leslie is admitted to practice in both the State of Michigan and the U.S. Eastern District of Michigan. 

Her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan focused on history and she was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society. While in the History program at U-M, Leslie was struck by the importance of law in everyday life for all people in a community. This led her to pursue her law degree. 

Leslie focused her areas of legal studies in Real Property, Probate, Estates and Finance while at Wayne State University Law School. While in law school she was a member of the Student Board of Governors. Leslie proudly interned with the Wayne County Prosecutor's Deed Fraud and Mortgage Fraud Unit, which is the first in the nation and continues a 100% successful prosecution rate. 

Prior to becoming an attorney Leslie worked in many various fields where she was charged with management, project development and training responsibilities. All of her past experience makes her uniquely qualified to handle legal issues with professionalism, sensitivity, courtesy, and efficiency.
